From awkward to awesome.
These traditional terrace houses are typically short for space, but with the right know, modernising such a property takes a little ingenuity, we proposed to the client with an array of options. They decided they liked all of the options so we were contracted to build a rear and side extension plus a loft extension.
The result is spectacular.

The loft extension involved creating one large bedroom and en-suite shower room whilst maximising space in the eves with intelligent storage units.
The client specified natural light wherever possible so we installed skylights to the rear and side extension, including a gorgeous glass window in the corridor to welcome more light onto the real wood herringbone flooring, which was flowed throughout the ground floor.
The lavish modern kitchen was fitted with an integrated sink, granite worktops and an island that can sit up to 5 people.
Bedrooms were carpeted with installed modern spotlights and the added benefit of a downstairs toilet for the family sized home.
The turfed and paved garden can be viewed and opened up seamlessly with large bifold back doors, generously letting in the light of the not-so typical London climate.
